The New Year started full of promise and then from Tuesday 5th January we were all back into Lockdown and riding schools were one of the businesses required to close. Sadly this is despite being an outdoor activity with all required Covid precautions in place. Hopefully now the vaccination programme has been started there will be better times ahead for us all.
Whilst in the first Lockdown the weather was good, now we are in the winter months the weather conditions are poor, leading to very wet ground. This has meant we have not been able to turn out all of the horses as we did before.
Sadly we have had to furlough staff again and are running with the minimum to still ensure the well-being of all of our horses, which is our top priority.
With no riding school income we have once again started a Just Giving page and we are very grateful for all of our wonderful clients and friends that have already supported us through this. If anyone would like to donate towards the horses’ keep then this is the link:- https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/verity-saul?utm_term=Xdgr8r6Kv
We wish all of our clients good health and look forward to welcoming everyone back as soon as we are allowed.
