Eddie came to Witham Villa as a 7 year old and has been carefully produced here as a dressage competition horse. He started out at Elementary level and is now competing at Small Tour level.
In April 2021 he was selected for Great Britain to compete at Wellington CDI at Junior level with India.
The combination were selected for the European selectors class held at Somerford Premier League.
He was the winner of the Advanced Medium Silver Winter Regional class at Vale View so qualified for the Winter championships at Hartpury in June 2021
We are delighted that India was selected for the British Dressage National Academy in 2021 with Eddie, one of only 12 riders selected, and again in 2022.
He won the FEI Junior Championship at the British Dressage Home International with India in 2021 with 70%+ scores on both days.
He won the Petplan Equine BD Area Festival at Solihull at PSG Bronze with India and they qualified for the Area Festival Championships at Hartpury in April 2022, in which he was runner up, just 1 mark behind the winner!
The combination are now part of the International Young Rider Squad.
He was part of the bronze medal Junior Nations Cup team at Le Mans and 3rd in the Junior Individual and 3rd in the Junior Freestyle on 75% in his first competition abroad in 2022.
The pair were selected for the Wellington CDI and came 1st in the Junior Team Test and 2nd in the Junior Individual with plus 70% in both tests.
We are delighted that they were then selected to ride as part of the Junior team for Great Britain at the FEI Junior European Championships held at Hartpury in July and that the team finished in Bronze medal position.
The combination finished ranked no. 20 in the FEI World Junior rankings.
They are now competing at PSG level in Young Riders and were selected for the European Young Rider Team in 2023, competing in Hungary and in 2024 competing in Austria finishing as Team Bronze medalists in both events.
They were the winners of the PSG Silver National Championships in 2023
They were the winners of the Inter 1 Silver National Championships in 2024.
