POPPY
This is an Irish mare, who was imported as a showjumper. Since coming to Witham Villa she has been trained in dressage, to Elementary level. She takes part in all pony club events. Shehas been to the national final of the Riding Schools competition , and also to the Pony Club Centre national championships where she had top 10 placings.
A lovely pony who is a riding school favourite and is equally happy being ridden by beginner riders.

VICTOR
Victor was imported from Holland in December 2012, having taken part in dressage and jumping there. He is a KWPN Dutch Warmblood.
He competes in the University competitions.
Ridden by Alice Watson, he was the winner of the 18 and over section of the British Horse Society Riding Schools Competition which included dressage and jumping.
He has competed in Affiliated Dressage at Elementary and Medium level with Alison West and they qualified for the Elementary Silver Summer Regionals in 2021.

Sharamour
Shannon came to Witham Villa having been a successful dressage horse up to Elementary level.
Following an injury whilst out in the field here she was put into foal to Integro and bred a lovely foal - “Integra” in 2019. Having had this time off she is fully recovered and is now being used in flatwork lessons

Deacon came to Witham Villa having previously been a family horse kept on a working livery basis at another equestrian centre.

Lady Jean
Thoroughbred mare by Striking Ambition, Jeanie was bred as a racehorse. She ran in 6 races but finished unplaced and was retired from racing in 2013.
She came to Witham Villa in 2017 after being in private ownership and re-trained.
She has a lovely temperament and now enjoys flatwork lessons and dressage competitions.

Mac
Mac came to Witham Villa in May 2019 having previously show jumped affiliated.
He is a lovely all rounder.
In 2022 he won the 18 & Over Equitation, Showjumping combined class; the 18 years and over equitation class and also collected the award for the best turned out horse and rider at the BHS Riding Schools Championships ridden by Connie.

A talented JC jumping pony competed BSJA with winnings of £600 actual, £500 notional. Bold at cross country and good at dressage, he has hunted and attended Pony Club rallies. A super pony that hacks on his own or in company. Jay is a lovely pony and takes part in all riding school activities.

Millie joined Witham Villa in 2018 having been imported from Ireland in 2017.
She has taken part in dressage, show jumping and cross country previously and has settled in well here at Witham Villa.

Peg is a piebald welsh part-bred cob mare who origianlly came to Witham Villa on loan and then was subsequently purchased for the centre.

A lovely bay pony who was imported from Ireland, joining the Witham Villa team in 2011. Preston takes part in all activities at Witham Villa. Preston has qualified for the National Final of the BHS Riding Schools Competition every year since 2013.

BASIL IV
Welsh Section D type pony. Basil enjoys jumping both show jumps and cross country fences and also works into a nice outline for dressage. He is a lovely pony used for children, teens and adults.
He was runner up in the dressage only section of the BHS Riding Schools Competition in 2019 and again in 2023

Polo is a piebald Traditional Gypsy Cob.
He is a very smart boy and would do well in showing. He has good paces and will be trained further by us for dressage as well as taking part in the general school lessons

Escade
Bronze Team Medalist at the FEI Junior European Championships in 2022.
Bronze Team Medalist at the Young Rider European Championships held in Hungary in 2023 (PSG Level) Finishing in 23rd place in the World Rankings for 2023.
Bronze Team Medalist at the Young Rider European Championships held in Austria in 2024. 16th in the Individual Competition and 11th in the Freestlyle Competition. Finishing ranked number 20 in the FEI World Rankings.
Eddie came to Witham Villa as a 7 year old and has been carefully produced here as a dressage competition horse. He started out at Elementary level and is now competing at Small Tour level.
In April 2021 he was selected for Great Britain to compete at Wellington CDI at Junior level with India.
The combination were selected for the European selectors class held at Somerford Premier League.
He was the winner of the Advanced Medium Silver Winter Regional class at Vale View so qualified for the Winter championships at Hartpury in June 2021
We are delighted that India was selected for the British Dressage National Academy in 2021 with Eddie, one of only 12 riders selected, and again in 2022.
He won the FEI Junior Championship at the British Dressage Home International with India in 2021 with 70%+ scores on both days.
He won the Petplan Equine BD Area Festival at Solihull at PSG Bronze with India and they qualified for the Area Festival Championships at Hartpury in April 2022, in which he was runner up, just 1 mark behind the winner!
The combination are now part of the International Young Rider Squad.
He was part of the bronze medal Junior Nations Cup team at Le Mans and 3rd in the Junior Individual and 3rd in the Junior Freestyle on 75% in his first competition abroad in 2022.
The pair were selected for the Wellington CDI and came 1st in the Junior Team Test and 2nd in the Junior Individual with plus 70% in both tests.
We are delighted that they were then selected to ride as part of the Junior team for Great Britain at the FEI Junior European Championships held at Hartpury in July and that the team finished in Bronze medal position.
The combination finished ranked no. 20 in the FEI World Junior rankings.
They are now competing at PSG level in Young Riders and were selected for the European Young Rider Team in 2023, competing in Hungary and in 2024 competing in Austria finishing as Team Bronze medalists in both events.
They were the winners of the PSG Silver National Championships in 2023
They were the winners of the Inter 1 Silver National Championships in 2024.

Competed initially at British Dressage Elementary level by Verity, qualifying for the Elementary Winter Freestyle Regionals.
In 2023 they have qualified for the Medium Freestyle Winter Regionals.
In 2024 they are qualified for the summer regionals at Medium level and Area Festival at Advanced Medium and for the AM Freestyle.
They have been awarded a wildcard to compete in the Petplan Area Festival Championships in the Advanced Medium Freestlyle Silver class.
They are qualified for the 2024 Winter Regionals at Advanced Medium and Advance Medium Freestyle.
