November 2020

Well - things didn’t go to plan….. just as we were happily building lessons up again, along came lockdown number 2!

We were very lucky to have held our final BD Competitions of 2020 on 1st and 2nd November before the lockdown and had a lovely two days of competition here . We look forward to welcoming competitors back next year and in the meantime thank you all for choosing to compete here at Witham Villa. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the judges and writers who come to us and make it all possible.

Verity also managed to fit in a 2 day Covid safe dressage clinic to replace the dressage camp originally planned and enjoyed seeing the progression made by the riders and horses that attended.

Sadly all activity had to cease as we went into lockdown 2. Initial interpretation was that we would be able to continue with one to one lessons but this changed to the Government requirement for all riding schools to close for the lockdown period. Difficult times as the riding school horses do not qualify for furlough! Still, rest assured they are all being kept to the normal high standard of care and will all be ready when we are able to welcome back our clients.

The very welcome news is that we are able to re-open again from Wednesday 2nd December and will be able to run class lessons in both the outdoor school and our covered arena. Strict Tier 3 Covid regulations will apply and we ask all of our clients to be mindful of this to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone. Further details are on the home page of our website.

Please email us at withamvillarc@gmail.com to re-book.

We look forward to once again welcoming everyone back and being able to offer riding lessons to aid the physical and mental well-being for all.
